The main purpose of the Legion of Mary is to give glory to God through the sanctification of its members. Members become instruments of the Holy Spirit through a balanced program of prayer and service. Works can include door-to-door evangelization, parishioner visitation, prison ministry, visitation of the sick or aged, crowd contact, religious education, visiting the newly baptized, Pilgrim Virgin Statue rotations, and meeting the other spiritual needs of the parish community. Legionaries are under the guidance of a spiritual director named by the pastor. The Legion is, in essence, an extension of the heart and hands of the pastor. If you are interested in dedicating your life to the rosary, please join us. The Legion of Mary also sells books at the side entrance of St Teresa's; please pick one up on your way out. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1569635629991489/

By coordinating and working with various support agencies and faith communities, they seek ways to involve parish members in works of mercy. The SVdP Cathedral Food Pantry provides food, spiritual and financial aid and clothing to people who live in our area. The SVdP Breakfast for the Needy and Lonely provides a hot breakfast every Saturday in the Cathedral School Café. Please drop off donations at Cathedral. https://svdpsouthil.org/

A clear and concise survey of the sedevacantist argument, based on the teachings of pre-Vatican II canonists, dogmatic theologians and popes. First published in 1995 as a booklet, and revised in 2006 to address various objections, Traditionalists, Infallibility and the Pope has enjoyed a world-wide circulation. Despite its continuing popularity, it is the one major treatise on sedevacantism that the Society of St. Pius X has never even attempted to answer. Home | The Oratory of Ss.
